Sam is 6

Sam has wanted a bird for at least 2 years. This year we decided he was old enough to have one. We went to the store get one, and ended up with two. Louie & Tweet! They are adorable! We are really enjoying them. It is so peaceful to hear them chirping away! Tweet dances his bootie off when Sam sings to him. It is so funny! Sam had an Indiana Jones party this year. Jeff created this very cool treasure hunt for the kids. Can't believe he is six!! The best six years of our life, and guess what... we have so many more ahead!!! Love, love this kid!!

Sam started 1st grade Thursday, August 5! We had a wonderful summer, but it ended way too soon! He loves his teacher! From what we hear she is wonderful and seems that way. His Kinder teacher place him with her, so i have no doubt she is the best for him! He is super excited that his best bud Zach is now at his school as well. He is growing up so fast, and changing so fast as well. He is so grown up now, what a year can do. We are very proud of our lovebug!

Student Of The Month!!!!!!

Sam was student of the month! We were so excited and proud of him! The whole time I had tears in my eyes as I sat there in the front row unable to peel my eyes off of him. He was not so excited. Only because this will draw attention on him and that makes him very uneasy. But he did so good walking up to the stage and getting his award! I was so worried for him, but he was a champ!! The Character Trait he received his award for was responsibility.
Here he is walking back to his classroom and below is him getting in line. I had some shots of him getting his award and I think he must have erased them accidentally. He gets my camera and plays photographer. Thankfully he got his own camera for Christmas and I got a camcorder!
