Blowing out his candles on his pancakes before we had his B-Day breakfast by the pool!
Wow it has come and gone, like a flash! Our sweet little baby is NOT a baby, not even a toddler, nor a preschooler anymore! He truly is a BOY! What, how and when did this happen!!! I simply cannot believe he is 5. I wish i could stop time so badly. But it has truly been my greatest joy in life watching him become the boy he is and will continue to be my greatest joy watching him become the young man he will become. He is a remarkable boy. He is not your typical 5 year old. He is a very complex I guess is the word..... He will tell us he can't stop thinking sometimes. He over thinks everything. He worries and analyzes things he has no need to worry about. It is difficult for him sometimes. He is very loving towards us and constantly kisses us and tells me he loves me to the moon and back. He tells me I am a cutie patootie Mommy and that makes my heart melt. He wants us to cuddle him while he falls asleep, and still comes to our bed EVERY night around midnight. He has never missed a night! He loves swimming, riding his bike, riding his scooter, playing Wii with Daddy, make believe, his imagination is out of this world. I am sure has a bit to do with being an only child. Loves being home, loves the Penguins of Madagascar! Loves his buddy Zach, and Star Wars. Adores his Grandparents and is the light of their life as well. Every morning when he first wakes up, he sits straight up and says either, "Mom, I have a plan...." or "Mom, here's the deal..." That mind is constantly going I tell ya. He needs very little sleep, has not napped since before he was 2.5. He has no time for that! He might miss something ya know. He is very sweet, kind, funny and sensitive. He has a hard time sharing and when things don't always go his way he will get upset. Something we are working on. It is hard, he doesn't have sibling he has to share with. But he is a super, super great kid and we adore every stinkin adorable inch of him!
We took him out to eat Mexican food, his favorite and they brought him this and sang to him. He was very embarrassed!
