Character was the theme of the month in November
we went to Sam's school for the kids to show us what it was like to be a pilgrim. They had to figure out the types of 'tools' they would need to take with them on the mayflower, build their own gardens, which they did, write with that feather and ink pen (don't remember the correct term!), they made a meeting place, and some other things that have already escaped my very full mind! Sam loved learning about the pilgrims and Indians. On one of the days I volunteered two of the kinder classes made a fruit salad, each class was either Indians or pilgrims and we all met outside and shared our meal.
