Afternoon At The Zoo

Today the three of us went to the zoo. It was such a perfect day to be outside. We rode the train for the first time. It was a short ride, but Sam thought it was way cool! He loves to check out all of the animals, except for the rhino! He is so afraid of that guy for some reason!! Sam had his first Icee at the zoo and said, "It is kind of like ice cream, but not!" While we were having lunch afterwards Jeff asked him if he had a good time and stuff and Sam said "It was the best day ever!" So good day all together for us all!

Such a smart little guy

I was changing a light bulb when I dropped it and it broke! Sam was upset because it was loud, and he asked me why I did that? I told him it was an accident. He said "It was an accident, you didn't do it on purpose?" I was surprised to hear this from him. I hadn't realized that he had put together the meaning of accident and on purpose and could use them in the correct context! Wow, he just amazes me at what he is picking up just out of life's daily routine.
Today I worked at the restaurant and my mom (Granny) came over to watch Sam. He was thrilled to see her of course! They walked down to the playground, played in the backyard, read books, and ate hot dogs for dinner! What a lucky little guy..... off to bed. Going to the Zoo tomorrow!!

My First Post

I am so excited to get this blog up and running so that we can keep everyone up to date on what is going on in our life! I still have some adjusting to do....

Today after we waited all morning for a service call to show up and they never did, long story, we went to get Sam a new Easter Basket. I can't wait to fill it up with all the fun stuff I have got for him! This year I think he will be excited as I plan to have an egg hunt! We then went to the library which we go every week. He just loves it! Got lots of good ones which we had to read them all before bed.

I am so proud of him especially these last few days as he is peepee potty trained! Although he still hasn't gone pooh in the toilet. He even gets up in the middle of the night to use the toilet. He is growing so fast it just amazes me.
