My new tile cleaner guy!

Okay, my Mom, Sam and I went shopping the other day and she bought him this camo shirt. He found it in the bag in his room and had to wear it along with is camo boots. He wanted to wear it today as well but I told him it was in the wash..... So I am using the swiffer on the tile and he says, "Mom are you a street cleaner?" Quick note, Sam is obsessed with trucks, utility trucks, garbage trucks, any trucks. So I said, "Yes I am, do you want to be one too?" So he of course said yes, and I now have my own tile swiffer guy! I don't know how long he cleaned the tile, but it was a good while. The kid crakcs me up!

So last night we had the best meal prepared for us by the CUTEST Chef I have ever seen, Chef Sammy Smith..... we had hamburgers, broccoli, bananas, bread, and cheese, I think that's' it! What a thrill he gets making us happy! Now hopefully as he gets older he will still enjoy cooking!

So we love to go to the car wash! I love for my car to be clean, and Sam and Oh Bear love to watch all the cars go thru the wash. Sam was at first very concerned about our car in there. But after many trips, it is now fun. We get to eat the free popcorn, relax and our car is shiny again!

So we are back in lessons again. We took some time off, but now we are back into it! Sam loves it truly! I love to go to his lessons and watch. I realized I have a smile on my face the entire time! He can swim a long ways unassisted, go to the bottom unassisted and pick up his rings and bring them back up, turn over, and float. He listens so well to his teacher! The last 2 lessons he has got to wear flippers and swim which he thinks make him go super fast. He is such a joy to watch!

Jeff and I spent a really wonderful weekend in Sedona. The weather was beautiful! We stay at L"AUBERGE for the first time. It is an amazing retreat to say the least. You are right next to the creek, the view is breathtaking. We wandered around town eating, relaxing, shopping and having happy hour! Also walking along the creek and hiking up to town on the path from the resort up to Uptown Sedona. I really love Sedona, it holds so many wonderful memories of my Papa and my Grandma. My Papa met the love of his life, Nelwyn, back in the early 70's when I was around 6 or 7, and they married and moved into her spectacular home in Uptown Sedona, just 3 streets above the old town. They lived there happily until they both passed away. It is a beautiful place that has changed so much since the days I spent there when I was a child. My Papa and I would walk every day to the post office which was just 2 streets down from the house. It was just a tiny little place. Now they have a huge one. We would go to the movies at the little movie theater. I think it was called the Flicker Shack, my Grandma once owned it many years before my Papa. I think there was like one movie showing a day or something. It was so peaceful and quiet back then. Now it is a total tourist trap, but still a wonderful town with many memories I will treasure.

Tub Time

Oh how Sam loves the bath! And he always wants to take his in MY tub!! Which is fine.... But we then have to have toys in all tubs, lol! I get completey soaked afterwards and many times I just take my bath with him, much easier. He thinks it is a small pool.

We had a wonderful party at the house! We barbecued, played in the pool, ate and sipped on some cold ones! It was a warm day for sure! No on really seemed to mind. Seems our crew is outside no matter what the weather it is, we love to be outside! Sam was so happy that Charlie and Joey came over. They had a lot of fun playing. We are very close to Surprise Stadium so we can see the fireworks really well! When the fireworks started Sam was very afraid. He was last year as well but we thought he may be okay this year, not! Poor guy! So we went in and he watched cautiously from the patio doors. He is still taking about them saying he does not like them, but he is very curious about them. He really gets very afraid of anything that has a loud noise. he was up past 10 which I think is the latest he has ever been allowed to stay up! But who wants to go to bed when the party isn't over!
