T-Ball Game!

Sam had his first T-Ball game last Saturday! They have their games at Rio Vista Park off of T-Bird and the 101, so they get to play on real fields and have a dug out! Which, will be so nice when it gets hot since we will all have shade and seats! The game of course was uneventful, what can you expect from 4-6 years olds. And Sam and two others are still under 4. But they did have a good time. And he is learning the importance of teamwork, and making new friends. Sam likes to bat and did get a bit bored in the outfield waiting for some action! He hit the ball on both of his turns! He wants to run after the ball when he hits it instead of first base, it is so funny to watch this! His team is called the Killer Whales,a name of which they voted on. It is so cute to see them all slap hands with the other team after the game and tell them good job! I would have more pics but I was out in the field helping them run to their bases.....
