I am so excited for Halloween! I have always loved Halloween, even at 38, well 39 at this Halloween's date, I am still excited for it to come! Maybe because my birthday is 2 days before. As a kid I always had the coolest Halloween birthday parties! My mom went all out for me, and always made it so special for me and my friends. I remember her even helping me plan my 19th birthday party at our house for me and my friends and her bringing home all these scary cool decorations she would get from the bar she cocktail waitressed at. So much fun!! This year Sam has finally decided he wants to be a policeman, (we have gone from that to garbage man, dinosaur, snake and elephant) and I am going to be his prisoner. I think we will have Daddy be a convict as well. Sam and I have our costumes, just need some final additions, and we have to get Jeff's costume figured out! Jeff has to wear his costume to his brown belt Kung Fu Rank test this month, which is hilarious. They have to run many miles, and do hundreds of push ups, fight, all kinds of torturous stuff all outside of the Kung Fu Studio shopping center for the whole world to see. They can't have water for the whole time, which it lasts like 3 hours, crazy! But he only has I think 2 more belts until he is a black belt! Anyway, so we have to get him a costume that he can be flexible in I guess, lol! Sam and I are going to make these cute little ghosts for the yard, and some other decorations, so I hope we have some trick-or-treaters. Last year since our neighborhood was so new we only had ONE! It should be better this year! Sam is excited and we even had to go to the library and get a bunch of policeman books to get totally into the theme!
