Concerned,...... long read...

This is the most important presidential election in our lifetime. Please do your research. There are so many things the public never hears or knows because almost ALL media, whether TV news, newspapers and almost ALL Hollywood is totally Obabatized and very left. The media is so Obamatized that if you only watch the news and CNN, etc., you will never know..... Sure he can give awesome speeches, he has great writer. But I want someone with experience, values, who will fight for my country, I want someone who would never attend a church for 20 years with a preacher who hates America, someone who is still friendly with William Ayers (seriously, google him), the unrepentant terrorist from the Weather Underground, someone who's wife said that for the first time in her life (at one of Obama's speeches for president) she is proud to be an American, what, these people are millionaires, who have been to the best colleges in the world, have been given so much and she says this! When asked about if one of his daughters became pregnant at a young age replied, "He wouldn't want to punish her with a baby." Rick Warren asked him, "when does conception begin?" and Obama answered, "that's above my pay grade." What, seriously, scary, do you really want some one who has had only 1 year in office as a senator before he decide to run for Commander In Chief-President Of The The United States Of America, who's highest ranking official rank has been Senator for under 1 year, and a community leader Oh, And he tries to compare Russia invading Georgia with the war on Iraq, unbelievable. I am so worried for us as a people if he gets elected. I could go on and on, and I will.... with more facts.. People need to start basing their vote on facts instead of feelings.

1. Obama started out early in his campaign attacking big business. Apparently Obama does not know that Big Businesses does not pay taxes. They simply raise their prices. And who is it that get the short end of the stick? That's right! The same ones Obama is claiming, he wants to help.

If you have a good job, now with all of the works; that is, health insurance, dental care, disability insurance, life insurance and pension you are doing well. But not for long. Not under the Obama Plan to attack Big Business so he can pay for all of his social programs. If you are working for a company like the one I described above, with all the works and that company get hit with higher taxes under the Obama Plan, will you be safe? I mean, just suppose the company call a meeting and say to you . . . Listen, over the years we have been able to provide for all of our employees a pension and welfare package. But now, under this new administration, with the increase in taxes, we are sad to have to report, that we are unable to deliver the same kinds of benefits as we once did. No thanks, to your President Barack Obama.

2. What about ten dollars a gallon for gasoline. Barack Obama does not want to drill for more oil. Obama is against it. Obama is against building more nuclear reactors. Nuclear power is important because it is much more environmentally sound compared to coal. If other countries can do it and store their waste safely, then we can do it. And we can do it better than them all combined! The French are recycling their nuke waste to the point it's safe. The solution? We need to drill here and drill now and pay less!

3. How about a President who gives the green light to the same-sex couples? Obama supports national civil unions giving same-sex couples the same safeguards and rights of marriage. Obama should know (if he is a Christian) that God ordained marriage and God also regulates marriage. Is Obama now trying to take God's role in regulating marriage? Who Is This Guy? What in the world is he teaching his children? What's Next? Pet Owners and their Pets seeking their rights to national civil unions, giving Pet Owners and their Pets the same safeguards and rights of marriage.

As it has been said by the so called Reverend Wright: "He's a politician, I'm a pastor. We speak to two different audiences. And he says what he has to say as a politician."

4. Obama is just the kind of President our enemies love. Obama said he will meet with our enemies, does this include Osama? Here is a Headline from Jihad Watch June 12, 2008; by Egyptian Journo: "Muslims love Obama because he will appease them." Fact: The United States has enemies. Fact: We have been told by those who are working day and night to protect us, the CIA, FBI and others; that we will get hit again. Retired Vice Admiral John Scott Redd, head of the National Counterterrorism Center, says, "We have very strong indicators that Al Qaeda is planning to attack the West."

In an interview at his headquarters near Washington, D.C., Redd told Newsweek's Mark Hosenball and Jeffrey Bartholet that the country is better prepared than ever to counter such threats. But he also believes another successful terror attack on the U.S. homeland is inevitable.

The question is do Barack Obama believe this or do he believe that whatever problem the Muslim world have against, can be solved by talking and with no pre-conditons set in place? Both cannot be right. Have we or have we not been attacked before? And what about our allies? Haven't they also been attacked? Is not Israel our ally and who is it that threatens to wipe them off the face of the earth? Yet Israel know that you don't begin to have a talk with your enemies unconditionally. Barack Obama biggest problem is poor judgment. Obama can sit in a congregation for many years and allow his family to hear hate messages. He just sits there and allow a man to disrespect God and God's word and lie about our nation.

And look how long it took for Obama to realize, that he needed to denounce his preacher's teachings, once everyone else found out what was going on, in the church he attended. All of those years he was a member and he just realized, while running for the highest office in the land, that his minister's teachings, did not reflect his views. Imagine that! This is not the kind of leader we need, to deal with those, who are our enemies. Why! It just takes to long for Obama to get it. If there is ever a clear and present threat, we do not want someone who cannot make a quick and sound judgment.

5. Then there is the case for "ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION." What is wrong with that statement? Oh! The word ILLEGAL. I know, I know. Some don't like the term ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION. They like the term "UNDOCUMENTED IMMIGRANTS". Some people don't like the term "HOMOSEXUAL" or "ADULTERY". They like the term "ALTERNATIVE LIFE STYLE". Why? To try to make it sound more appealing.

Making the point that "ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION" ruins the American Economy is not hate speech. Saying I hate someone because they're hispanic is hate speech but Lou Dobbs did not say that. Not only that, Lou Dobbs wife is from Mexico. Therefore Obama again has a judgment problem. Obama has poor judgment.

They have been married 25 years and have two biracial children.. Furthermore, his wife mother and her father lives with them. What Dobbs says is, those who enter illegally demean the status of those who entered legally and cause widespread economic problems both in lower wages and in flooding the social safety net. That is not hateful, that is true. How can one have a case if they are ILLEGAL?

According to the nonpartisan Urban Institute, in 2002 there were 9.3 Undocumented Immigrants in the United States. What part of your social security will Obama grant to them before you, get to retire? don't

Have you done your research,

Phoenix Children's Museum

We finally made it out to the Children's Museum. We went with a large group so we were able to get a big discount! The place is really wonderful, fun and very interesting. You have to go to really understand what it is all about. Jeff was asking me to explain it to him and I really couldn't find the right words to tell him about many of the exhibits. Anyway, when we first got there Sam was a little overwhelmed as he usually is around large groups or in big settings. It takes him time to really check things out and assure himself that it is okay. But after about 35 minutes he was really into all the museum had to offer. There are 3 floors, the 3rd floor is the best! Sam loved painting the house in the art room. His favorite was they had this room with wooden cars that you put in these tunnels and let them go and they fly through, you can race your cars with another friend. It is way more detailed than I am explaining...... Also an area with really cool bikes to ride through a zone, pretend grocery store with a check out, beans to weigh, grocery carts and a cool loading deck area. A kitchen place where you can make pizzas in a wood fired oven. A cool room that you link tubes together to make you ball fall through the maze and the ball circles the whole room in a tube, very cool. Gosh what else.... lots! Oh lots of little area to read books and of course Sam found those areas and they had dino books! We were there from 9am - 12:30 and could have really stayed longer. Unfortunately my camera is at the manufacturer being fixed or maybe replaced so i brought a super old camera that doesn't produce the best photos and doesn't hold a charge for long. I got a few pics, but not even half way through our adventure it died. The pictures came out terrible as well. But I will post them. We will be going back for sure. Maybe even getting a year pass which is a much better deal that paying each time. They have some food, but is is very pricey. Thankfully our friend came prepared and we shared a hearty snack in the eating area. So next time we will pack our own lunch and spend more time since we know what to expect and what to do first, etc!

Lazy

I posted these pics below because we were in the grocery store yesterday and a lady told me that Sam was beautiful and was he a child model, lol!! I said, "No" with a giggle. She said OMG you should check into that, and on and on. Well when Sam was 7 months (pics below) I took these and entered him in the Regis and Kelly Baby contest. He of course didn't win, but he SHOULD have, lol! It just brought back a memory.... God he was so stinkin cute! I always told Jeff, "If Sam isn't here when you get home it is because I have eaten him up, he is so damn adorable!"

I cannot believe how lazy I have been this week, ugh! I am so disgusted with my lazy self! Today, it is 1:20pm and I just got Sam and I showered and dressed. I know, I am embarrassed. I have gotten out of my routine and am struggling to get it back. Since school has been out for the summer and my workout routine on hold, I seem to have lost it, lol! I am hoping when school starts next week that will give me the push I need to get back on track. I won't take Sam to the daycare at the gym anymore so I can't go until school starts. I am just not happy with it and it likes it okay enough but I am not comfortable. I can't wait for my membership to expire there. I need some inspiration to get my routine back! Maybe it is the weather?? So as we are laying on the floor playing trucks and dinos after our shower I say to Sam, "I need to put more lotion on your legs, they are so dry." He says, "Is that because I am growing up?" I say, "I don't know, but you are growing up!" He says, "I just want to stay 4 forever, how do I do that?" I say, "If only I knew..."
Anyway, hopefully next week we will be back to our energetic selves! My camera is being fixed so I haven't taken pics in forever. We are going to the Children's Museum tomorrow with church group and I am going to have to find my old camera and hope it is still working! So I hope to have fun pics to post in a day or so. Well off to get soemthing done, yeah right......

This-N-That

This is the end of year photo from preschool, aren't they adorable!

Jeff came home early and told Sam he wanted to take him to see a movie, just the two of them. I had suggested yesterday that Sam and I go to a movie today and he said, he wanted to go to the movies with just him and Daddy. At first I was a bit sad, but I know he is with me ALL day, every day and doing something with Dad alone is pretty special. So they left to go see Fly Me To The Moon or something.... it is a
3D movie. So I sit here in this empy house, it is weird. I am never alone, it is very quiet. I should enjoy myself although I don't know what to do, lol! So I waste time on the computer, ugh. SAm is so excited for his preschool to begin. He starts September 2. He will go MWF from 9:30-1:00. Sam just go a special post card from his teacher welcoming him to school and to come for an open house and see the new classroom. He is very excited! We love Miss Hilary, she has been such an inspiring influence on Sam. He has a hard time being away from us unless he is with the Grandparents, but with her he is happy and content. So right now he is counting the days to school. My mom is back at work as well, I already miss not talking to her anytime during the day. I have to check and see if she is out of class, blah, blah. She is an aide for kids with special needs at Sunnyslope High. They adore her. I have met her after school and she is walking out with all of them and they are all hugging her, hilding her hand, and just smiling at her like you wouldn't believe. She is just that kind of person, everyone adores her, she has the biggest, warmest heart. She is out fo school now so I am going to sign off and give her a call. I will let you all know how the boys thought the movie was if anyone is interested.....

A Good Find

Sam loves bologna and mustard sandwiches. So on my quest to eat more healthful foods I came across Yves Meatless Deli Bologna Slices www.yvesveggie.com. It is really tasty. Sam loves it. As most know Bologna and hot dogs are made of the most nasty, worst products for you, and I cringe when I buy it. So I encourage you to try these product they are good. Also many of the Boca products are good too, like the sausage and spicy chicken patties.

Good Day, BAAAAD Night

Oh goodness, last night was yuck! Day was great, we went to my mom's to play and came home and Jeff, Sam and I went out for pizza. As I was reading to Sam at bed he says his tummy hurts and runs to bathroom. He poops and I assume he is all better, that's all it was. So he goes to sleep and about a half hour later we hear him crying up stairs. I run up, see him at the top and pick him up. He is all wet, so my first thought was oh, he must have wet the bed??? Then I smell it, yes puke! I set him down and he points to our bed, I turn on the light and the whole top part of our bed is covered in puke. He obviously decided it is better to puke in someone else's bed than you own, smart cookie, lol! No, I am sure he woke up as usual and headed to our room. So we get him, me and the bed all clean. We lay with him and he falls back asleep. Happens again, and again. Changed the sheets 3 times till we had no more. He ended up with a fever as well. This morning he wakes up at 7am ready to play, what??? So we get up and I head to the store to get stuff for soup. Come back and he is slowing down a bit. He is actually laying on the couch watching TV. This is RARE! I know he does not feel well, he never, ever LAYS DOWN when the sun is up! Still has a slight fever, no more puking thankfully. I know I really shouldn't even complain. We were trying to remember when Sam has puked and the first and last time was when he first started walking we think, so that was when he was 9 months. So we haven't had to experience this with him until last night. He was so pissed. He would get so angry because he would dry heave and nothing, and try to go #2 and nothing, nothing would help. So I am taking a break from being nurse and doing laundry right now. I am thankful though, he hasn't been sick at all since April of last year, I guess our luck just ran out. So here he comes up the stairs, "Mom, I am bored!" The resting is over I suppose, how can I be more tired and foggy than him! To have that energy, I wish I could bottle it....... gotta sign off now, the boy is back....

A Little Surprise

So we finally made it over to A Little Surprise. It is literally across the street form our home, not even a mile away. It is an indoor play place. It has little towns, slides, dress up, cars to ride in, T-ball, big bowling ball & pins and a cafe. It is a really neat place. They even have an arcade for older kids and after school program, b-day parties, dance and karate classes. They have a firetruck with a fire pole that Sam was in love with. We will be going back! It is great for parents who need a break because the kids can play, and the parents can sit in the cafe and watch them. Who doesn't need a break once in a while right!

Indoor activities

So as we try to keep ourselves busy and cool through the summer besides just hanging out in the pool, weekly library adventures and waiting so patiently for beloved preschool to start; here are a few things we have been doing.
My camera is on its way to be fixed and our memory card reader is not working so we are very behind in updating....

Bought him new paints. Tells me "I am so anxious to use the red paint!"

The dinosaur obsession continues. Watching a documentary on dinos and I said it was sad how they ate the planteaters. he says, "Mom! They are meateaters, they have to eat!"

Building forts out of everthing, but fell throught this one and clocked himself pretty bad. Major bruise on the face.

Playing a dinosaur game on the computer that Daddy bought him. The concentration....

Take Me Out To The Ballgame.....

Jeff, Sam and I went to an afternoon A D-Backs game last week. A friend gave us some great seats. We were in row 8, pretty close. This was Sam's first game. Jeff and I haven't been to a game since Sam was born! It was a great afternoon! Even though they lost it was still fun. We got to See Randy Johnson up super close. Sam would yell "Go Diamondback rattlesnakes!" So funny! He was super happy since they had icees and Peter Piper Pizza!

Normal attire

Sam will not keep his clothes on for anything. It is fine with us, but we usually have people popping in and he is ALWAYS half naked, naked, just underwear on, or some crazy concoction as the below. He starts out fully dressed, but as the day goes on, off go the clothes. I have a feeling that it is pretty normal for kids his age and with the weather so hot. He thinks when he goes to the bathroom (# 2) that he has to take off all clothing below the belt. So these pictures may come in handy during his teenage years!

Such a tough guy

The ABC's Of Faith

So simple, yet easily forgotten.
I have this plaque in my kitchen and it is one of my favorite things, and reminds me that ever day is special and everything you do will leave a footprint in some one's life.

Ask and it will be given to you
Believe
Consider the Lillie's
Do unto others as you would have done to you
Encourage
Forgive
Give to one from whom you will not receive
Hope

Judge Not
Knock and the door will be opened to you
Love your neighbor as yourself
Be Mindful
Do not neglect the gift that is within you
Owe no one
Practice kindness
Be quick to listen
Rejoice

Take heart
Understand
Value truth
Walk humbly
Strive to excel
Enter into joy
Be zealous for

Handyman Sam

He looks so grown up in this one!

There is nothing Sam likes to do more than help Daddy with stuff around the house. The second i mention, or Jeff mentions that he is going to "work" on something Sam says "oh I better get my stuff and help Dad!" He says this in his deep, low voice all serious, like poor old Dad needs some help so i guess I will pitch in.... Jeff knows how to fix everything and anything, build anything, etc., he will never call anyone to do anything around here. We even laid our own tile in our homes in Flag and Avondale and has done all of our backyards in all of our homes, and many other things... and it seems Sam is going to be just like that. He will be a great family man!
