Making Bread at School

I snuck in before he could notice me and Mrs. Raby was talking to them about what was going to happen, and to remember their manners.

They are now walking out of their room into Mrs. Guthrie's (the 2 teachers work together on a lot of things. They have been close friends since Mrs. Guthrie taught Mrs. Rabys children, and talked her into becoming a teacher) room to get started. Fingers on lips and holding up the peace sign. To remind them to walk quietly....
Rolling shaking and kneading the bread. Each parent was assigned a table to help out with. Thankfully our table had 2 moms. There was one boy who was very, very excited.... and we needed an extra hand, lol!

After every ones' bags were finished they brought them up to the teachers and they then got them ready to bake.

I volunteered at Sam's school last week to help make homemade bread. It was really a lot of fun! The kids are adorable and surprisingly very well behaved. I am in awe of the patience, love and compassion, not to mention control, these teachers have with the kids. I know Sam adores his teacher and I believe that is the key. The teachers are so much fun! It is structured, yet a lot of fun.I got to meet Sam's new friends he talks about all the time. The kids were so excited and worked so well together taking turns. My camera is broke so I bought a disposable one and it is crap! Sam then got it and took many pics of his friends. Those did not turn out at all since he did not have the flash on! It made my heart so happy to be involved, even for just a couple of hours. Sam is so happy and that makes me happy! I didn't take Sam to school or pick him up yesterday since I am under the weather, and this morning Mrs. Raby went out of her way to come over and ask me if I was feeling better. She is just so caring. And that is exactly the type of teacher I have been praying for. I can't wait to go back again.....
