Sam is just so sweet! Last night while we were all sleeping he kept wanting to hold my hand. It was just so cute. He kept saying "Mommy I want to hold your hand." He did this with Jeff too. He always thanks us for letting him have a Popsicle or something by saying, "Oh mommy thank you for letting me have the Popsicle!" He is so excited when he says it, it is precious. He told me yesterday that I needed to lay down and rest my back. Like he knew that I was needing some rest. When we are at the chiropractor he gets upset with the doctor when he is working on me and says "Mommy you get down!" He is very concerned. He will tell Jeff, "Daddy I will miss you when you go to work." very sadly and just want Jeff to hold him. He will tell Daisy (our dog) "Daisy I don't want you to get old, oh Daisy." Last night I was singing to him while he was laying on the bed and I was putting lotion on him.. I was signing, "Sammy your my best friend, blah, blah..." and he opened his arms for me to come down and hug him and said "Awe!" I just melted. I could go on and on...... and I need to write down the stuff the minute he says it! Oh the other day we parked in front of this nail place and he says we should go in there. I said No, that is where girls get their nails done. He said, very excitedly, "Mommy you should go and get your nails done!" It was so funny! Jeff walked out onto the patio and saw dirt dumped all over from Sam's truck (My MIL was out there with him) and said "he knows he isn't supposed to do that to her, and Sam says "Daddy we both did it." He sad it like don't get mad at Grandma! He really is very loving and sweet. He also is all boy, and loves to run around and be crazy when he is around kids his age. His imagination at full throttle and laughing and giggling like a mad man! But that is what I LOVE about him. He can be a sweet, shy, loving, timid boy and then the next minute he is Wild Man Sam! The kid has more character than any kid I have been around, and more energy.... (have I mentioned he hasn't napped in over a year) but maybe i am bias.
