Preschool

Yay, preschool started last week! Sam has been so excited for it to begin. We had gone to the school for an open house and got to see the new and improved classroom! It is wonderful! They even have their own library that they will be checking out books. They all got their own "homework" boxes that are filled with all the essentials to do their homework, their own cubbies with their names on them, it is just really great everything she has done. Last week all the kids did a food drive for one of the local food banks here that was literally out of food. Miss Hilary heard about it and talked to then kids and decided they should help. The kids raised 200 items, that is between I think 7 kids. So she called them to see if we as a school could come and drop off. They were so impressed that they called her back and wanted to have one of their reporters (from the AZ Republic) come to the school and do a story! That was Friday. Isn't that great! Sam goes MWF and we are carpooling with another friend, so that is going to be good. I am so glad Sam loves school. I wish I had some photos, but still don't have my camera back, I feel so lost without it. SAM is very excited since tomorrow we are picking up his friend to take to school. So cute!
